Donna is a warm and experienced psychologist who is passionate about helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered in navigating life’s challenges. With more than 20 years of experience working across private practice, disability services, and corrective services, she brings a compassionate, grounded, and neuro-affirming approach to therapy and assessment.
Donna works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, emotional difficulties, and life transitions. She also has a strong interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including Autistic adults, ADHDers, and those exploring their neurodivergent identity later in life. Donna values creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can build insight, reduce self-judgement, and develop strategies that align with their individual strengths and experiences.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, gentle, and evidence-based, drawing from modalities including ACT, CBT, EMDR, schema therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and motivational interviewing.
Donna is passionate about delivering care in a thoughtful, respectful, and person-centred way, with a focus on understanding the individual beyond the diagnosis.
