Clinical Psychologist Registrar

Tara is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar who works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural and psychological concerns. She has a particular interest in supporting children and young people, as well as working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism. Tara values working collaboratively with clients and their families to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Tara has experience conducting psychoeducational and developmental assessments, giving her a strong understanding of the relationship between learning, development and emotional wellbeing. She provides evidence-based therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches tailored to each client’s individual needs. She also provides coaching, scaffolding and practical support to help neurodivergent clients develop strategies for emotional regulation, executive functioning and navigating everyday challenges.

Having worked across private practice and public settings, Tara brings experience supporting clients with a broad range of presentations, including trauma and adjustment difficulties. She is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and providing compassionate, collaborative care that empowers clients to achieve their goals.
